Creating design dialogue for a more vibrant and sustainable Santa Fe

About Us

FASF’s mission is to advance civic engagement and constructive dialogue about design and the built environment. Our interdisciplinary events invite architects and allied professionals, the creative community, policymakers, and members of the public to participate in shared learning, critical thinking, and creative visioning about the future of Santa Fe.

Our Programs

We organize and host lectures + workshops, architecture tours, and design charrettes. We’ve hosted Santa Fe PechaKucha events. All of these programs are free of charge and open to the public.

Friends of Architecture Santa Fe’s programs and events are made possible by the financial support of our members and donors. We are a nonprofit organization and tax-exempt public charity under Section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. All donations are tax-deductible.

“Good design, like good painting, cooking, architecture or whatever you like, is a manifestation of the capacity of the human spirit to transcend its limitations.”

George Nelson

Our Story

Friends of Architecture Santa Fe was established in 2012 by members of the Santa Fe Chapter of the American Institute of Architects with a public outreach and education mission. Today, our multidisciplinary board is comprised of architects and allied design professionals who are dedicated to advancing inclusive design dialogue about Santa Fe’s built environment.
