We aim to enhance and foster awareness, knowledge and appreciation of architecture and the built environment.

About Us

We create meaningful and informed conversations about the impact of architecture and design on our city, our communities, our past and our future. Our public events are open forums for design professionals, policymakers, creatives and the public to come together and participate in mutual discussion, education and visioning exercises.

Our Programs

We organize and host design charrettes, panels + lectures, architecture tours and PechaKucha nights. All of these programs are free of charge and open to the public.

“Coming together is a beginning, staying together is progress, and working together is success.”

Henry Ford

Our Story

Friends of Architecture Santa Fe was established in 2012 by members of the Santa Fe Chapter of the American Institute of Architects with a public outreach and education mission. Since our very first event, we have brought together architects, allied design professionals, academics and members of the public to experience and explore the ideas that create quality architecture and urban places in our community and beyond.

Friends of Architecture Santa Fe’s programs and events are made possible by the financial support of our members and donors. We are a nonprofit organization and tax-exempt public charity under Section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. All donations are tax deductible.
